The Vroomaroundus Bugus are minor characters that first appeared in Cars. They resemble bugs, particularly flies.

In Cars, some bugs are seen when Sally shows Lightning the abandoned Wheel Well Motel, flying around the exterior. At the end of the film, a Vroomaroundus Bugus bumps into the camera after a dirty Van and Minny drive away. Visibly surprised and confused, the Bugus turns and flies away.
Mater and the Ghostlight
In Mater and the Ghostlight, a shining yellow light scares Mater into thinking that the Ghostlight is coming for him. Mater cautiously observes the light, only to discover that it is really just the headlights of a Vroomaroundus Bugus.

Heavy Metal Mater
In Heavy Metal Mater, Vroomaroundus Bugus is seen flying near the Drummer Pitty, who tries to shoo it away, but keeps hitting the drums and cymbals with his drumsticks, causing Mater and the band to change their style of music.
Bugged
The wounded bug from Bugged.
In Bugged, a Vroomaroundus Bugus flies up to Red while he is watering his garden, much to Red's annoyance. After he tries to shoo the bug off, he sprays his hose, and once he stops, he no longer hears an annoying buzzing noise. However, Red notices the bug wounded under Stanley's statue, unable to fly. After he blows the water away, the bug manages to fly again, this time inviting two other bugs over.
