Thomas Louis Magliozzi
June 28, 1937
Thomas Louis Magliozzi (June 28, 1937 - November 3, 2014) was one of the co-hosts of NPR's weekly radio show Car Talk alongside his brother Ray, where they were known as "Click and Clack, the Tappet Brothers". Their show was honored with a Peabody Award in 1992.
Tom voiced Rusty Rust-eze in Cars. He passed away at the age of 77 in 2014 due to complications from Alzheimer's disease. Despite this, Animation Magazine has stated that he will be returning to voice Rusty in Cars 3. It is possible that this could have been done through archived records from the first film, like in Paul Newman's case for Doc, or his lines may have been pre-recorded before his death.
