I feel OK with currently no photos on the article. --Lightening McQueen (talk) 22:29, April 29, 2014 (UTC)

Name[]

First off, I don't remember ever seeing the name "Alza Facile" ever used. The model name was first seen in the Car Finder Game as "Alza Tutto Forklift". Also, ever since the Meet the Cars book, released only months after the Car Finder Game, the model has also changed its name to "Tutto Forklift" using this name in the next two Meet the Cars revisions and even the Cars: Character Encyclopedia. I don't see why we shouldn't move and update links to these pages, but I want input to avoid confusion. ~~ChickenChaff (talk) 22:30, 16 September 2023 (UTC)

I don't know what the source for the image is, but there seems to be a long list of characters with this manufacturer - it might be clipped from another one's artwork. Alternatively it could be from a magazine or something. It appears legitimate, so I think we should investigate that before we unreasonably discard anything.
What are you proposing we move the page to, exactly? Based on the evidence you've provided I suspect "Alza" is intended to be the manufacturing company, whereas "Alza Tutto", "Alza Facile" etc. are individual models by that company. Something like Meet the Cars could have used that short-hand in the same way we refer to my dad's car (for example) as "Elantra" instead of "Hyundai Elantra." ~~RodRedlineM1 (talk) RinPixel 18:30, 17 September 2023 (UTC)
Well, considering the Meet the Cars book never removes the make in the books, it's not that. But also, I hope to move it to "Tutto" as Alza is not included in the name, I hope also to delete the "Alza Facile" page, and redirect "Alza Tutto" to the final end page in mind. ChickenChaff (talk) 24:36, 17 September 2023 (UTC)
That's a No true Scotsman fallacy, though. This could be the exception to the rule. Also, if at least one source (Car Finder Game) calls it that, then we can't simply discard it because it's different. The proper approach from a documentation standpoint is to present both options, rather than one and not the other.
Since we discussed this over DM on Discord, I will reiterate here what I said there, and make clear (to everyone) for future reference: Please do not make your proposed changes before a consensus is reached. It can come across as dismissive and creates extra work should the consensus decide in favor of what was originally intact, or of another option altogether. ~~RodRedlineM1 (talk) RinPixel 02:15, 18 September 2023 (UTC)

Alright, behold the results of our thorough investigation: The Alza Facile logo, which is what the main photo is of, appears on Guido's back. Since he's an Alza Tutto forklift, this would seemingly imply the full name of the manufacturer company is Alza Facile, with Alza for short - as opposed to Facile being an Alza make. Per Chicken's point on the Discord, often times a specific make will reference the manufacturer in shorthand, ex. "Honda Civic" instead of "Honda Motors Civic." Using my earlier example of Hyundai, their Wikipedia page is titled under their full name. So I think it's reasonable we do the same here and keep the original title of Alza Facile. ~~RodRedlineM1 (talk) RinPixel 18:29, 18 September 2023 (UTC)
