Ben considers the open road his home, fellow truckers his family, and the Top Down Truck Stop his dining room. He has few close buddies, but can make friends in every town he passes through. Once Ben's met someone, he never forgets their name. He can recognize a familiar grille anywhere.
Ben is seen at the Top Down Truckstop, and in the credits where he entered Radiator Springs.

Ben is painted cream with a green stripe on his trailer and the words "OMB". He has a cream cab but a white roof and grey bumper, and a tall black grille. He has his make model's logo above his grille along with two hood ornaments. He has yellow headlights.
