Aiken Axler is a Piston Cup racer that appears in Cars. He is one of three racers for the Nitroade racing team, the other being Racer 13 and Joltsen.

Aiken is a Lux Motors Co., specially designed for Piston Cup racing. His top speed is 190 km/h and he has 605 HP. He won the 2003 Vitoline Rookie of the Year honors in his first full season of Piston Cup racing. He is painted black with an orange spoiler. He has the number 28 on his doors and roof and the Nitroade logo on his hood. He retires some time between the events of Cars and Cars 3, and is replaced by Phil Tankson as the Nitroade racer.

History

In Cars, Aiken is one of the thirty-six competitors in the final race of the 2005 season at the Motor Speedway of the South against the likes of Lightning McQueen, Strip Weathers, Chick Hicks and many others. Aiken is seen at a higher position, not too far behind Strip Weathers and Chick Hicks. After being involved in the large accident, Aiken receives small damages, but is able to continue racing, and he eventually finishes the race behind Weathers, Hicks, and Lightning McQueen.
